Yad-Vashem-Gebet
Yad-Vashem-Prayer On behalf of my eyes That have seen orphaned parents And have amassed cries of grief on my bound heart On behalf of my compassion That commanded me to forgive Until days came that more terrible were than could be forgiven I vowed everything to remember Remember all and forget nothing Forget nothing till the tenth generation Until my torments are all forgotten All of them Till all the sticks of my ethics would have perished The vow was for nothing if when the fright night is over I'll return to my ways in the morning And I would have learned nothing this time again © Copyright: Manory/Thobi
